CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - November 11, 2010) - The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN®), www.ncsbn.org, announces a deadline of Jan. 7, 2011, for submission of scientific proposals to its Center for Regulatory Excellence Grant Program.
The Center for Regulatory Excellence Grant Program funds research projects that can have measurable impact on nursing regulation. Research priorities include: patient safety as it relates to nursing regulation; nursing education; continued competence; remediation; alternative to discipline programs; transition of international nurses; reentry into the workforce; national and international portability; and other issues related to nursing regulation.
The Center for Regulatory Excellence Grant Program awards grants up to $300,000. The deadline for proposal submissions is Jan. 7, 2011. For applications and more information, visit www.ncsbn.org/389.htm.
Since the Center for Regulatory Excellence Grant Program began in 2007, it has awarded nearly $6 million in grants.
