Nearly 120 Companies Compete for Attention of 1,500 Gathering for Indoor Air Quality Conference

Organizers Say October's Industry Showing in Orlando Will Be Largest of Its Kind

ROCKVILLE, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 6, 2005 -- The largest-ever marketplace of products and services assembled for the indoor air quality industry will open Oct. 6 in Orlando, Fla.

The exposition hall, a mainstay at annual meetings organized by the Indoor Air Quality Association, will be available for viewing Oct. 6-8 as part of IAQA's conference held jointly with two other industry groups, the American Indoor Air Quality Council and the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization.

The event is being held at the Hilton in the Walt Disney Resort. Billed as "The Unification Conference," it serves as the first combined annual meeting of the three leading organizations in the indoor environmental arena.

During the exposition hours, the show floor will feature nearly 120 display booths showcasing everything from diagnostic tools to laboratory services to cleaning and remediation equipment.

"Gold sponsors" exhibiting at the conference are to include:

--  Cold Jet LLC, a company that has advanced and refined dry ice blasting
    technology for nearly 20 years, innovating the mold remediation industry.

    used to detect and quantify fungal contamination on surfaces efficiently
    and effectively.
    
--  Northeast Laboratory Services, an experienced laboratory utilized by
    consultants seeking to test for contaminants including radon, asbestos and
    mold.
    
Over 1,500 professionals from various disciplines related to indoor environments are expected to attend the conference and exposition. The conference agenda includes over 25 hours dedicated to various aspects of mold. Various educational tracks permeate the program, including indoor air quality research, state regulations, insurance, government programs, and the law.

Conference attendees will also learn details about the unification and consolidation plan recently proposed by the three organizations. Members of IAQA and the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization will take part in a historic vote that may shape the future of the indoor air quality industry for decades to come. The American Indoor Air Quality Council has already approved the proposal.
