Nebo Brings Home 2014 PR News Agency Elite Award for Branding

Pro Bono Project, Choose ATL, Wins Over Judges With Atlanta's Untold Story

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Nov 7, 2014) - Nebo, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Atlanta, was recently awarded the 2014 PR News Agency Elite Award for the Branding category. Nebo was recognized for its work on the Choose ATL campaign, marking the agency's first victory in this competition.

PR News, a prominent international thought leader in the public relations industry, hosts the esteemed awards to recognize the top public relations initiatives across 19 practice areas. Judges consist of PR News staff, as well as corporate, agency and academic executives. This year's finalists were honored at the Digital PR & Agency Elite Awards Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Nebo was acknowledged among other prominent companies, including Weber Shandwick, Peppercomm and FleishmanHillard.

To kick off the pro bono project, Nebo organized a launch party at Atlanta Tech Village to introduce the initiative and bolster public support. The event drew more than 300 attendees, including local media, thought leaders and influencers. The initiative garnered an overwhelming level of support, and the surge in online conversations surpassed all expectations. The campaign continued to pick up speed in the following months, and it is still growing. To date, Choose ATL has earned more than 45 million impressions.
