Neptune Industries, Inc. Announces Commencement of Farm Expansion

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwire - January 29, 2008) - Neptune Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: NPDI), announced today that it has begun construction of its South Farm Expansion project.

Mr. Sal Cherch, Neptune's Chief Operating Officer, stated, "Neptune is very pleased to announce that the Company has begun construction of the second major expansion of its Blue Heron Aqua Farms site in Florida City, FL. Completion and stocking of the first part of the expansion should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2008. The remainder of the project is anticipated to be finished by the end of the second quarter of 2008. When completed, this expansion is projected to more than triple our production and revenue capabilities, making our Blue Heron Farm one of the largest hybrid striped bass producers in the world. In addition to producing hybrid striped bass, the expansion will feature state-of-the-art aquaponic facilities to produce hydroponic crops of lettuce, micro greens, herbs and vegetables utilizing the fish waste as fertilizer. These high demand, high profit crops will quickly add to the Company's revenue stream. During the past year, the Company has developed its techniques for hydroponic crop production and is now prepared to enter the marketplace."
