Celebrating 15 years of success this month, the 107-person company is rapidly expanding -- increasing its workforce by more than 40 percent. The company is adding up to 30 engineers over the next six months, in addition to sales, operations and marketing employees. Since Net Optics products are manufactured in the company's own Santa Clara facility, 80 percent of the new hires will be local, contributing to Silicon Valley's economic growth.
Going against conventional wisdom, Net Optics has thrived without venture capital funding. Chairman of the Board Eldad Matityahu founded the company in 1996 with a "customer first" philosophy. By innovating products that incorporate end user feedback and address critical network management needs, Net Optics has acquired more than 7,000 enterprise deployments worldwide.
