NTAP) today announced it is
accepting nominations for the 2009 NetApp Innovation Awards to recognize
customers who have helped their companies, customers, or communities
through innovative deployments of NetApp® products and solutions. Award
recipients are honored for achieving positive business results using
NetApp, demonstrating creativity and thought leadership in storage best
practices, and embodying the NetApp "can do" and "create a model company"
spirit.
Companies can nominate themselves or be nominated by NetApp employees,
channel, or technology partners; other companies; or colleagues through an
online submission form. All nominations must be received by midnight
Pacific Time on Friday, December 4, 2009, to be eligible for consideration.
Nominees will vie for awards in the following four categories: Enterprise,
Public Sector, Green, and Individual. One winner will be selected in each
category by a third-party panel of judges consisting of distinguished
representatives from the media and technology industries. In addition to
these categories, the top nominations from all categories will be judged in
a special Innovator of the Year category that recognizes one winner from
each of the following three global geographies: Americas, APAC, and EMEA.
NetApp Innovation Award winners will receive the following:
- Two round-trip tickets to San Jose, California, and accommodations for
two nights' stay to attend the awards events at NetApp, May 19-21, 2010
- A hand-crafted, prestigious award presented during an awards ceremony
in San Jose
