This is the fourth consecutive year that NetApp has received a WRAP award.

News Facts
The California Integrated Waste Management Board honored NetApp for:

  • Diverting over 1.3 million pounds of materials from landfill in 2009, including over 450,000 pounds of construction materials and over 7,000 pounds of packaging foams
  • Prevention and reuse programs for packaging materials, electronics, office furniture, office supplies, and landscaping waste
  • Purchasing office supplies with high recycled content, such as office paper, packaging materials, and janitorial supplies
  • Giving preference to environmentally responsible cleaning supplies, ENERGY STAR-rated items, energy-efficient light bulbs, and compostable disposables

Award Detail

  • NetApp's corporate waste-management program is ISO 14001 certified and eliminates waste from landfills through reducing consumption, reuse, and recycling.

  • In all, NetApp diverts more than 50% of all waste from landfills by using recycled, biodegradable, and/or compostable supplies throughout our offices and facilities.
