Net.Orange and Mary Crowley Expand Partnership

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - February 28, 2008) - Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers (Mary Crowley) announces the expansion of its innovative partnership with Texas-based Net.Orange Inc., inventor of the revolutionary cOS™ (Clinical Operating System) and many general and therapeutic-specific technology solutions that are leading the trend toward integration of all electronic medical records.

Mary Crowley has been using the Net.Orange cOS to administer over 100 cancer clinical trials across a national network of ten research centers. Using the cOS, Mary Crowley links different systems, including eResearch, a clinical trial management system developed by Velos Inc., a partner of Net.Orange, allowing access to critical information regarding internal and external roles in the clinical trials process.

"We are thrilled about our strategic relationship with Net.Orange," said David Shanahan, CEO and president of Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers. "The cOS will provide much needed decision support tools to help our oncologists and their nursing staff to manage the ever increasing complexity of delivering care to cancer patients. Integrating the patient record with matching clinical trial and standard of care protocols in a single environment will truly provide the care team with tools to reduce errors and delays, and ensure excellence in patient care."

With the expansion, Mary Crowley will now also use Net.Orange's specialized cancer treatment planning system, cOS TheraSystem, to provide oncologists and nurses with key clinical support tools to help manage a cancer patient's treatment plan. This new system will allow cancer care teams to implement traditional treatment regimens, such as chemotherapy, while at the same time seeking non-traditional alternatives, such as personalized targeted therapies and clinical trials.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to interact with one of the most innovative oncology programs in the industry and address a significant unmet need," said Dr. Vasu Rangadass, CEO of Net.Orange. "Cancer centers around the country have invested significant money in systems for billing, practice management, labs, radiology and medical records. cOS TheraSystem will allow them to unlock the knowledge contained in existing systems, while opening doors to relevant public information, and help them streamline decision processes for clinical and financial optimization."
