NetPlus Marketing Supports Teen Health Education, Capturing "Real" Conversations Among Teens About HPV for AWARE Foundation

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - Leading digital marketing agency NetPlus Marketing announced today that it launched a teen-inspired video and a microsite on behalf of the AWARE Foundation. The program is designed to educate the target audience of teenage girls about the risks of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and the availability of the HPV vaccine. NetPlus used video to record the teenage girls' questions and concerns in an unscripted format. They balanced the conversation with the participation of a knowledgeable physician. In addition, the microsite presents educational content within the video to highlight issues raised during the discussion.

When developing the strategy behind the campaign, NetPlus considered the sensitivity of the subject of teen sexual health, and how it is often difficult to reach this age group by traditional means. NetPlus' concept was to capture the "true" voices of the teen girls, while also providing facts and medical insight from a qualified physician. "A Conversation" became the title of the video, and the casual yet informative tone was intended to inspire teens to discuss the subject with their own physicians, each other and their parents.
