NetPro Adds Three New Components to Its Active Directory Administration Suite

Suite Upgrade Features Active Directory Reporting, Log Consolidation, and Self-Service Password Administration

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 12, 2006 -- TechEd 2006 Conference -- NetPro Computing, Inc., a leading provider of distributed services management software, today announced the addition of three new components to its NetPro Active Directory Administration Suite. The Active Directory Administration Suite combines the power of RestoreADmin and GPOADmin with new ReportADmin, LogADmin, and SelfServiceADmin tools to bolster the functionality of native Active Directory by enabling state- based reporting, log consolidation and self-service password administration in an integrated, cost-effective solution set. NetPro's Active Directory Administration Suite will be showcased in NetPro's booth, #841 at Microsoft's TechEd 2006 conference this week and the products will ship during the third quarter.

ReportADmin centralizes and consolidates Active Directory compliance reporting, ending reliance on manual scripts and time-consuming reporting tasks. Through tight integration with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, ReportADmin enables automated delivery of audit and security information to management and internal auditors on pre-defined schedules to ensure compliance.


Compliance regulations require that organization store historical log data over time. LogADmin enables event log consolidation, analysis and storage in a controlled, scalable and secure environment, giving organizations a cost-effective way to meet their compliance reporting requirements.


SelfServiceADmin dramatically reduces helpdesk calls, drives user productivity, and cuts costs by enabling end users to reset their own passwords and unlock user accounts while maintaining corporate data security standards. SelfServiceADmin also integrates auditing and activity tracking and provides immediate notification of password reset results.
