NetPro's AccessManager Streamlines Role-Based Access Delegation and Reporting

New Solution Tightens Security and Drives Compliance With Role-Based Access Delegation and Reporting for Windows and Exchange

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 12, 2006 -- TechEd 2006 Conference -- NetPro Computing, Inc., a leading provider of distributed services management software, today announced AccessManager, a new solution that drives security and compliance by automating and enforcing role-based access delegation and current and historical reporting for Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, files, folders, shares, printers, registry and services. AccessManager, scheduled to be available early in the third quarter, will be showcased in NetPro's booth #841 at Microsoft's TechEd Conference.

"Access has the potential to change minute to minute, and knowing where an individual has been delegated access at any given time is extremely complex for any administrator -- no matter how large the environment," said Brad Hibbert, vice president of strategy for NetPro. "AccessManager not only provides comprehensive delegation administration, enforcement and management, it provides administrators with unprecedented current and historical reporting capabilities."

AccessManager drives security and compliance and lowers administration costs by automating and enforcing role-based access management for Windows, including Active Directory, Exchange Server, files, folders, shares, printers, registry, and services. AccessManager centralizes access reporting with current and historical reports that detail the who, what, where, and when of Windows resources access.

"Our customers are looking for ways to drive efficiencies, and enhance both the security and compliance of their Active Directory environments," said Peter Houston, senior director of identity and access management for Microsoft Corp. "We are pleased to see NetPro expanding its support of Active Directory with a new solution for streamlined access management and real-time and historical reporting."
