Industry Veterans to Help Company Forever Change Exerciser's Media Experience

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - February 22, 2011) - Netpulse, Inc., the location-based, interactive, digital media platform for fitness centers and active lifestyle consumers, today announced that it has expanded its team with powerhouse additions Mark Mastrov on the Board of Directors, Kurt Weinsheimer as VP of Business Development, and Joe Hawkins as VP of Operations.

"We are excited to bring on leaders in their fields like Mark, Joe and Kurt," said Netpulse co-founder and CEO Bryan Arp. "Mark brings unparalleled fitness industry experience and Joe and Kurt have each successfully scaled business operations. We will leverage their passion and expertise to catapult our company to the next level."

Chairman of New Evolution Ventures, Mark Mastrov is the founder of 24 Hour Fitness. Launched in 1983, he built the fitness empire to 420 clubs in 6 countries. As VP of Business Development, Kurt Weinsheimer will be responsible for expanding the company's network through alliances with fitness equipment manufacturers and clubs and generating revenue through advertising and media partners. Kurt is a veteran internet executive with a successful track record in e-commerce and online travel. He has held top positions at companies including Patagonia, Spot Runner, Inc. and Orbitz Worldwide. Having launched the hotel division at Orbitz, where he developed partnerships with 45,000 hotels and boosted booking revenue to $500 million, Kurt is the ideal leader to oversee revenue growth.
