Netpulse Launches Interactive Entertainment Platform at New York Sports Clubs

Advanced New Media Platform Offers Unmatched Benefits to Consumers, Fitness Centers, Advertisers and Equipment Manufacturers

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 2, 2010) - Today, Netpulse announced the launch of its new interactive media platform for fitness centers and active lifestyle consumers at the New York Sports Clubs' flagship Wall Street location. In addition to the platform launch, Netpulse announced its exclusive partnership with Town Sports International Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CLUB), the largest owner and operator of fitness clubs in the Northeastern United States.

The Netpulse platform provides exercisers with a customized entertainment experience that offers live HDTV, multiple channels of on-demand programs and music videos, iPod/iPhone connectivity, personalized workout data and access to social media. Netpulse, available both integrated into fitness equipment and as an add-on personal viewing screen, transforms the equipment into a personalized entertainment hub using Netpulse's patented custom content delivery system.

Through an easy-to-use touch screen interface, users can personalize their workout environment by taking advantage of a nearly endless variety of entertainment options. Additionally, the platform extends out of the club and online, where users can manage their entertainment preferences, create custom content playlists and track their workouts.

"The Netpulse platform is the most advanced media platform for health clubs and active lifestyle consumers and is designed to provide something for everyone -- exercisers, fitness centers, advertisers, fitness equipment manufacturers and media companies can all realize tremendous benefits through the platform," said Bryan Arp, CEO of Netpulse. "This redefines the entertainment expectations of club members and connects them with their favorite media at a time when they are actively looking to be entertained."

For advertisers and media companies, the Netpulse platform provides unmatched benefits, most notably, the ability to reach consumers one-on-one for an average of 30 minutes per interaction -- an engagement length ten times longer than traditional out-of-home consumer environments.

Netpulse will be the exclusive provider of entertainment screens and other services to Town Sports International ("TSI"). Netpulse has developed a private-label version of the platform for TSI -- known as Sports Clubs Active Network -- which will eventually be available in 109 NYSC locations and all 158 TSI properties, including: Boston Sports Clubs, Philadelphia Sports Clubs and Washington Sports Clubs.

"By introducing the Netpulse screen and platform we are dramatically improving our members experience in the clubs. This interactive entertainment system is a tremendous improvement over the current in-club options," said Alex Alimanestianu, President and CEO of TSI Inc. "In addition to Netpulse providing each member with a personal entertainment environment, the automated workout tracking application allows members to record key components of their workouts. This feature will help keep members motivated, monitor their progress, and ultimately help them achieve their fitness goals. We expect the flexibility of the platform to continue to evolve and provide new ways to engage and inspire our members."
