NetScaler Application Delivery System Selected to Speed Performance of Interop® 2005 eNET Network

NetScaler Also Named as Finalist for 11th Annual Network Computing Well-Connected Awards

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 3, 2005 -- INTEROP® 2005, Booth 825 -- NetScaler, Inc., the global leader in accelerated application delivery systems, today announced that it has been chosen as the exclusive application delivery provider for the InteropNet Event Network (eNet) at this year's Interop® 2005, the industry's most comprehensive IT event, being held May 1-6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company also announced that its flagship line of application delivery systems has been nominated for the prestigious 11th Annual Network Computing Well-Connected Award, which will be awarded at the show.

The eNet is part of InteropNet, the event network that provides the infrastructure and services to all exhibitors, conferences and meeting rooms at Interop 2005. Built in collaboration with leading IT infrastructure vendors, the eNet is one of the world's largest temporary networks, addressing an organization's complete IT infrastructure needs and setting the bar for innovation and expertise.

"The eNet is a cutting-edge network built in collaboration with hand-selected vendors that put their products to the test of the ultimate networking challenge," said Lenny Heymann, Interop General Manager. "Our exhibitors and attendees depend on this network to connect with anything at the show and the outside world. Participants such as NetScaler are valuable contributors to the innovation and expertise of the eNet for the benefit of our attendees."

NetScaler will be deployed in front of the eNet datacenter, serving as the primary provider of L4-7 networking services for the show. With the deployment of two high-availability systems, NetScaler will provide eNet users with content switching, highly efficient data compression, in-memory content caching, secure delivery and multiple TCP optimizations for up to 5x faster application performance.

In related news, NetScaler was also named as a finalist in the Infrastructure section of the 11th annual Network Computing 'Well-Connected Awards.' The NetScaler Application Delivery System was nominated in the 'Best Content Switch' category. The winners of each category will be announced in Network Computing's April 28 issue. The winners and finalists will also be honored at a special awards ceremony at Interop.

The Network Computing Well-Connected Awards honor the year's outstanding technology products and services. They represent the very best products and services the technology industry has to offer in networking and are chosen by Network Computing's technology editors from products that have been tested and evaluated in the Network Computing labs.

"We are honored by both of these selections, as Interop has long been center stage for showcasing technology innovation in the IT industry," said Wes Wasson, vice president of worldwide marketing, NetScaler. "The eNet deployment in particular should be of interest to show attendees as it closely mirrors NetScaler secure application delivery deployments we are seeing from many of the world's largest enterprises."
