Former CEO of Carat in the US and Aegis Media North America Adds Unique Marketer Perspective

Ms Fay, the former CEO of Carat in the US and later, Aegis Media North America, is a veteran of the media services industry. In her two decades of experience, she has developed and implemented groundbreaking new models for advertising and media. Ms Fay helped to build one of the most recognized digital companies in the world through a combination of acquisitions, new business wins, and organic growth.

In her earlier career, Ms Fay was a partner at Freeman Associates, which was at the time the largest media agency in the high tech marketplace. In the late 1990s this agency was acquired by Aegis and became Carat Freeman. In her next role as President of Carat Interactive and then President of Isobar, Ms Fay orchestrated the successful acquisitions and merging of several companies including Lot21, Vizium, Freestyle Interactive, Molecular, iProspect, Ammo and Bluestreak. She is also responsible for launching Isobar Mobile, a highly regarded mobile marketing entity.

Ms Fay went on to become the CEO of Carat in the US, which merged its digital and traditional media businesses -- an industry first. One year later, she became CEO of Aegis Media North America, the parent organization of Carat, Isobar, Posterscope (OOH), and Velocity (Sports and Entertainment Marketing).

An industry thought leader, Ms Fay initiated several groundbreaking studies including "Born to Be Wired" (2003), which examined rapidly increasing internet use by teens, and "Never Ending Friending" (2007), which considered the increasingly vital role of social networking as a component of social behavior and also calculated marketing ROI for Social Marketing campaigns.

Currently, Ms Fay is working independently. She consults, participates on several company and industry boards, and regularly addresses audiences at major marketing conferences.
