Nettwerk Music Group and Uh Huh Her Enlist Mozes to Take Fan Following to the Next Level

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2008) - Mozes, (www.mozes.com) the service that connects people to what they love right from their mobile phones, today announced that Nettwerk Music Group's indie electro-pop phenom Uh Huh Her has launched their mobile campaign using Mozes. In just one week, the band created a mobile music scavenger hunt and has already received over a thousand calls and text messages from its growing mobile fan base.

Uh Huh Her is establishing a mobile presence through Mozes, whose integrated text, voice and web features are helping them interact with fans and generate demand in the run up to their upcoming release, "Common Reaction," on August 19. Uh Huh Her followers can now join the band's mob (mobile list), communicate with band members and get the latest on new album releases, tour dates, exclusive ringtones and other mob-only offerings, all via their mobile phones.

Working closely with its online team at Nettwerk, Uh Huh Her is using mobile as a crucial part of its marketing and communication strategy to engage fans on a new level. The duo already features webisodes and music downloads on its site, but mobile outreach will provide fans a direct link to the band and its promotional activities. Mob members receive regular text updates from the band, but also have the opportunity to win special prize giveaways; get in on ticket presale offers; receive merchandise coupons; hear exclusive news about the band; download a free monthly wallpaper and ringtone; participate in street team and meet and greet opportunities; listen to exclusive voice messages; and more.

"Uh Huh Her has really embraced mobile, understanding that it is the best way to communicate to their fans, for whom mobile phones are an essential part of the way they live, work and play," said Brian Popowitz, Nettwerk Music Group. "The band's fans are the pulse of the emerging music scene, which is hugely important to the band. Because Mozes is easy to use, free to the fan and a spam-free service, Uh Huh Her fans have been hooked right from the start. This is just the tip of the iceberg -- the opportunities for mobile outreach are enormous."

With the creation of its mobile Mob, Uh Huh Her has officially launched the first of many mobile contests that are running exclusively through the band's Mob. Fans who text UHHUHHER to 66937 and join the Mob are eligible to participate in the Uh Huh Her Mobile Scavenger Hunt. This mobile hunt is a comprehensive search for answers to questions about Uh Huh Her that will be sent directly to each fans' mobile phones. The contest will be filled with tough questions prodding fans to search the internet, immersing themselves in the band's content until they find the answer. Of course it's not all work and no play; the scavenger hunt is filled with great prizes from text-to-win opportunities.

"Nettwerk Music Group and Uh Huh Her are leading promoters and marketers by great example," said Patricia Dao, Director of Business Development for Mozes. "The band is making a truly engaging and fun experience for its loyal fan base, the growth of which will speak volumes when the band announces new milestones and music releases on the road to cult stardom."

Los Angeles based Uh Huh Her is comprised of musician/actress Leisha Hailey and singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Camila Grey. Their first single "Say So," landed the band in the Top 20 on iTunes resulting in sold out shows in Los Angeles, New York, and the United Kingdom.
