Networking Opportunities and Upward Mobility at Ultimate Media Solutions

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2015) - Ultimate Media Solutions' Market Manager, Gary Cure, recently reported that the company has been able to achieve its earlier expansion goals by developing career-focused employees from within an in-house management training program. In July 2015, Ray Bruebaker was promoted to the role of Market Manager and joined the ranks of fellow trainers, Gary Cure and Alec Manard. As a Market Manager, Bruebaker will have the opportunity to oversee new territories for Utah, supervise marketing campaigns, and teach marketing strategy.

On August 17, 2015, these managers had to opportunity to attend the National Leadership Summit to learn how to improve their management techniques and to network with other marketing experts and trainers. Cure, who also attended the conference, remarked, "Throughout the management training program, we are shown how to be a success. At the National Leadership Summit, we are hearing from the best of the best across the country and fine-tuning what we already know."

Cure, the Senior Market Manager at UMS, runs the management development program at the company with newly promoted Corporate Trainer, Ben Reynolds, along with John Bray. Together Reynolds, Bray, and Cure team up to prepare employees for positions in management by teaching trainees about subjects such as business management, marketing campaign strategy, goal-setting, communications, and leadership qualities. Cure maintains that the continuous learning mentality of all employees at Ultimate Media Solutions has contributed to the company's success.

At UMS, networking provides employees to grow on a personal and professional level. "Networking is important because someone else will always be better than you at something. It is always good to network in order to improve on your weaknesses," said Cure. Because the company only promotes from within, all managers have to work their way to the top from entry level roles. This system has created a sponge-like atmosphere at the office, where all employees are constantly looking to learn more from each other and about their clients.

In his article, "7 Reasons Networking Can Be a Professional Development Boot Camp," Glenn Llopis asserted, "Networking is both an art and a science. But in the end -- networking should be fun, exciting and a rewarding approach to advancement. The more you network -- with a positive outlook -- the more you will learn. And if you're always learning, you are growing and thus developing yourself -- especially your interpersonal communication skills." Manager trainees have the opportunity to travel and learn from other marketing professionals at management seminars and marketing expos across the country.

At Ultimate Media Solutions, networking provides the ultimate opportunity for new managers to step outside of their comfort zones and learn from someone else. By taking the time to listen and enjoy other perspectives, managers like Bruebaker, Manard, and Cure have a unique opportunity to grow professionally and to translate that growth into positive actions for Ultimate Media Solutions.

The company is gearing up for its next push toward continuous expansion both nationally and locally in the state of Utah. Cure announced that Ultimate Media Solutions will be adding several additional full-time roles to assist in this growth as the company aspires to double in size by the end of the fourth quarter. When asked about the team that he is trying to build to complete the next phase of his master plan to increase the company footprint in Utah, Cure replied, "We are looking for candidates with strong leadership and communication skills -- someone who knows how to listen and be able to apply what has been taught."
