NeutriSci to Add Distribution Channels Launch of NeuEnergy

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jan. 12, 2015) - NeutriSci International Inc. (the "Company" or "NeutriSci") (TSX VENTURE:NU) is pleased to announce that the global launch of NeuEnergy™ is scheduled for the latter part of February 2015. NeutriSci will further enhance its existing distribution network with several additional early adopter partners including Amazon.com, Inc. ("Amazon") and NBTY Inc. (formerly Nature's Bounty).

Amazon is the largest Internet-based retailer in the US, recording sales of $74 billion in 2013. Amazon operates separate retail distribution in the US, UK & Ireland, France, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Australia, Brazil, Japan, China, India and Mexico.

NBTY distributes in the US to supermarkets, drug store chains, mass merchandisers, club stores, and health food stores under various brand names, as well as selling direct-to-consumer. Some of their more recognizable brands and distribution outlets include Nature's Bounty, Sundown Naturals, Puritan's Pride, Vitamin World, Osteo-Bi-Flex, Balance Bar, MET-Rx, and GNC (UK). Other brands owned by NBTY include Holland & Barrett (UK), Rexall, Solgar, Precision Engineered, WORLDWIDE Sport Nutrition, American Health, DeTuinen, LeNaturiste, Flexamin, Knox, Herbal Authority, Doctor's Trust and Leiner Health Products.

In the US, energy product / drink sales have grown by more than 5,000% since 1999. Globally, the energy product / drink industry has gone from a $3.8 billion business in 1999, to a $27.5 billion business last year. Coffee sales in 2013 came in at just above $12 billion in the US, while energy drink sales were just below $9 billion, a gap of less than 1.5 to 1, as consumers shift to products with less caffeine. Over the next five years, energy product sales are expected to continue growing at about twice the rate of coffee sales.
