NEVADO Initiates Second Major Helicopter-Supported Diamond Drilling Campaign at the La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project

- 15,000 metres in 3-stage drilling campaign, including the completion of the delineation drilling at the 1,500 metres by 550 metres by 115 metres Farrell-Taylor Occurrence

- To test 3 additional multi-kilometric occurrences

- NEVADO believes the occurrences may host 200 million tonnes of oxides mineralization

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2011) - NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:VDO)(FRANKFURT:NSV) (the "Company" or "NEVADO") is pleased to announce the start of a 15,000 metres, multi-stage and helicopter-supported diamond drilling program at the Company's wholly-owned La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project (the "Project").

The program at this time will total 10,000 metres and focus on:

  1. Completing the delineation drilling (5,600 metres / 12 holes) at the 1,500 metres by 550 metres by 115 metres Farrell-Taylor Occurrence; where NEVADO already drilled the western segment of the occurrence during the winter 2011 drill campaign;
  1. Drilling (1,000 metres / 5 holes) the 4,000 metres by 2,000 metres strong magnetic anomaly of the La Blache West Occurrence;
  1. Drilling (2,000 metres / 10 holes) the 800 metres by 800 metres potential target at the Farrell-Mason Occurrence;
  1. Drilling (1,400 metres / 7 holes) the multiple showings at Farrell-Seguin, At Long Last and Father's Day-Richer-Leduc Occurrences of the 5,000 metres Lac Prospecteur segment of the La Blache Ring of Iron-Titanium-Vanadium.

The remaining 5,000 metres will be added on a target-by-target basis depending on results.

Mr. Michael Curtis, President and CEO of NEVADO, stated "Fully financed and with the start of its second major drilling program, NEVADO is well poised to determine the full Iron, Titanium and Vanadium oxides mineralization and size potential of its top four priority targets at La Blache, which NEVADO believes may host 200 million tonnes of mineralization. It is expected that by year-end we will have reached a key milestone in the project that will include approximately 25,000 metres drilled, the completion of NI-43-101 compliant mineral resources estimates on the most extensive oxides mineralization to date at Farrell-Taylor, the completion of the second stage metallurgical testing and a preliminary economic assessment. We will continue reporting results as they become available."
