This will be achieved through a marketing and sales initiative specifically targeted at the MC&IT markets.

"We are in the process of hiring key positions for the department and implementation of our marketing plan", says Marcia Lyons, General Manager, Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.

"Funding will be provided through the Calgary Hotel Association, Destination Marketing Fund", notes Joseph Clohessy, President, Calgary Hotel Association. "We look forward to the success of this initiative and to providing our industry partners with long term solid business."
