New Ammonium Nitrate Processing Plant to Be Built in Peru, an Industrial Info News Alert

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--(Marketwire - August 29, 2007) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- The consortium formed by Terra Industries, one of the U.S.’s largest fertilizer-grade ammonium nitrate producers, and the Australian chemicals producer Orica Mining Services, has presented Peruvian authorities with a letter of intent to build in a new chemical complex in Pisco, located about 200 kilometers south of capital Lima, Peru. The new complex will require a total investment of $1.2 billion and it is expected to start operating in 2009.
