Mr. McCartney was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1999, having graduated from the University of Saskatchewan's Law School in 1998. He joined Burstall Winger LLP where he is now a Partner and practices in the areas of securities and commercial law.
Doug acts for underwriters and issuers in various types of financings, mergers, and acquisitions as well as in restructuring and refinancing transactions. In addition, he is a director or officer of several publicly traded companies.
