New Batch System Software Assures Efficient, Uninterrupted, Protected Blending by Plastrac GA Series All Fed Blenders

EDGMONT, PA--(Marketwired - September 09, 2016) - Plastrac has announced new batch system software specifically for off-line mixing with all its GA series blending systems. The software can be used for easy entry of preset batch quantities for blending into barrels or gaylords, as well as for batches as small as 0.5 lbs. It ensures that the system blends at the fastest rate possible for any given materials.

The new batch software will estimate blending completion time and continuously display time to finish. It will also protect the batch in the event of power spikes or failures. A battery backup supplied with the system will ensure that the system continues were it left off. Operators can manually cancel batch blending at any time.

Plastrac is a leading international designer and manufacturer of disc-based gravimetric and volumetric blending equipment, as well as materials loaders, for all plastics processing.
