With these surveys and their team of utility industry consultants, BRIDGE is keeping its finger on the pulse of the utility industry. A sample of the survey results includes:

  • 86% of utilities stated that improving their current asset management would improve reliability.
  • 32% of current Work Management systems are no longer supported by OEM vendors.
  • Only 37% are using analytics to predict maintenance.
  • Only 20% of small/medium size utilities are satisfied with their mobility product.
  • Integration of related systems continues to be a top impediment to WAM projects.

"Utilities across the country are working hard to deliver reliable, secure, clean energy to their customers. Leading companies are leveraging work and asset management to improve operational performance and increase business efficiency," said Forrest Small, VP of Grid Optimization Strategy at BRIDGE Energy Group. "BRIDGE has created these surveys to identify challenges, share best practices and underscore successes."
