New College Site From Alloy Education Offers Free Monthly Scholarship for College Students

WESTFORD, MA--(Marketwire - November 3, 2009) - announced the addition of Alloy Education's monthly $2,000 scholarship to its site, making it the ultimate online destination for college students looking to find not only fun facts about their school, but money to help pay for their education.

Students currently enrolled in college can login to the site and instantly register to win a scholarship each month. Created by Alloy Education, InsideCollege is a unique resource that allows students to see how their school rates on over 700 lists of college facts and statistics. With wide-ranging lists covering everything from "The Happiest Colleges" to "Campuses Where Movies Were Filmed," students can see if their school makes the grade.

The InsideCollege project was spearheaded by Alloy Education CEO Joe Moore, who partnered with Steven Antonoff, Ph.D., a certified educational expert and former college dean who authored the site's companion book, "The College Finder." In addition to using the site as a college research tool, Alloy Education is planning to expand the InsideCollege database by encouraging students to answer survey questions on the homepage that will provide statistics for future user-generated lists.
