New Company XLNTads Connects Big Brands With Media Generated by Consumers and Aspiring Filmmakers

Online Advertising Platform Will Protect Brands and Slash Costs Associated With Consumer-Generated Advertising

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 2, 2007 -- Today, XLNTads ("excellent ads") Inc., a new online advertising company, officially launched to bring major brands together with consumers who'd like a shot at creating award-winning video advertisements and commercials. XLNTads is inviting brand marketers and advertising agencies to find out how they can be among the first to take full advantage of this amazing new marketing vehicle.

In early Q3 2007, XLNTads will launch a consumer-generated advertising platform allowing marketers to tap into the rapidly growing consumer-generated media (CGM) market. The XLNTads Web site gives creative consumers and filmmakers of all levels a centralized location for submitting ads for inclusion into campaigns, competitions or contests sponsored by big brand sponsors.

Advertisers benefit from the simplicity and cost efficiency of the platform, the security of a neutral environment and the cumulative site traffic generated by all brands. Without incurring exorbitant development and promotional costs, they will have access to a wealth of creative resources to build CGM campaigns that are resonating with today's consumers. With production of the average 30-second spot costing upwards of $300,000, brands can slash costs by rewarding the creator of a brilliant advertisement submitted through the platform with as little as $20,000.

Internet marketing expert Rick Parkhill, CEO of iMedia Communications Inc., a trade publisher and event producer serving interactive media and marketing industries, founded the company and asserts, "XLNTads takes the guesswork out of consumer-generated advertising, providing a convenient and easy-to-use platform for marketers to tap into the potential this channel holds. Marketers get an easy way to deploy consumer-generated advertising programs and gain access to a large pool of consumers drawn to the site by the other advertisers -- all in a controlled environment where each submission is reviewed by a human to ensure compliance with copyright, trademark and decency law."

Parkhill has assembled a team of experts to launch and grow the company. Parkhill recruited former brand marketer Neil Perry as a consultant who spent 23 years at McDonald's Corp. where he last held the title of senior director of national marketing and was most recently VP of marketing for Monster.com. Tony Romeo, SVP and brand liaison for XLNTads, is a marketing consultant with 15 years of experience as founder and chairman of Unilever's Interactive Brand Center. He currently holds a position as a professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business, where he teaches global marketing.
