New DebtLogic Release Provides Significant Advantages to Credit Counseling Agencies

With Industry Reform Looming, DebtLogic 2.5 Expected to Spark New Growth in the Credit Counseling Industry

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 31, 2005 -- Integrant, Inc. today introduced the latest release of its successful DebtLogic™ debt management software solution. Version 2.5 of DebtLogic will include several value-added features aimed at automating many steps normally handled by paper, and replacing them with more result-oriented features. As a response to current customers, the new release of DebtLogic also includes automated E-Signature, Lead Implementation, Web Origination and Client Self Service features.

According to Ben Lacomble, DebtLogic co-founder and lead architect, the new features will add significant value to both new and existing customers. "Everything we've designed into version 2.5 has been to make the daily processes faster, simpler, and easier," says Lacomble. "Features such as E-Signature reduce the time between the counseling session and DMP sign-up, by allowing counselors to automatically review forms with clients. Now, enrollment for a DMP can be established in a matter of minutes rather than days."

With Federally mandated bankruptcy reform quickly approaching, version 2.5 is expected to provide the debt-counseling industry a significant competitive advantage with its feature-rich components and lead implementation capabilities. "In light of bankruptcy reform, the importance for great referral partnerships between credit counseling agencies and other financial service groups is a must," says Lacomble. "DebtLogic is prepared for this relationship with its Lead Implementation tool, so agencies can easily import leads to respond to the needs of prospective clients."

Industry experts believe that agencies empowered to do their own back-office work in-house will have the advantage in this rapidly changing industry, and will be better positioned to leverage technology to better serve the public and themselves.

Recognizing the need to be more nimble and self-reliant, Genesis Financial Management Inc. recently contracted with DebtLogic to bring all of their processes in-house. "When we entered the marketplace and began looking for a software platform, there were very few out there that compared to DebtLogic. DebtLogic not only gave us the versatility to use their platform without being sold a customer service package, as most companies do, but they also hosted the database -- which saved us from incurring the IT expense internally. Without DebtLogic I am not sure we would be here today," said Preston Duppins, CEO of Genesis.

Brian Blackburn, Director of Operations for DebtWave Credit Counseling, Inc. agrees: "We were amazed at how possible it was to bring our portfolio onto DebtLogic's system, and do everything on our own."

DebtLogic automates all processing associated with credit counseling, including call scripting, appointment scheduling, counseling, activity tracking, DMP setup and management as well as proposal and creditor management. DebtLogic also provides the ability for payment and disbursement processing and is seamlessly integrated with MasterCard RPPS, Visa ePay, Global Client Solutions and VANCO.
