New Dimension Completes Initial Sampling Program at Maki Gold-Silver Project, Peru

Assay Results include 1.0 metre of 12.52 g/t Gold

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 10, 2007) - New Dimension Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NDR) is pleased to announce the results of an initial hand-trenching program over portions of its Maki gold-silver project located in the Central Andes of Peru, 70 kilometres west of the city of Cusco. This sampling program together with previous exploration activity has identified a minimum of four target zones associated with the two kilometre long Maki Vein system. Permit applications for a Phase I drill program are being prepared.

Six trenches were excavated along a 1200 metre southern portion of the Maki Vein. The trenches varied in length from six to 18 metres and were sampled on one metre intervals. The program was successful in establishing consistent gold mineralization as noted below:

Vein Width
Sample Area (metres) Gold (g/t) Silver (g/t)
Trench -1 4.0 0.38 2 m of 41
Trench -2 2.0 1.21 No significant values
Trench -3 2.0 2.11 No significant values
Trench -4 4.0 1.22 1 m of 56
Trench -5 2.0 5.81 1 m of 110
Trench -6 1.0 12.52 52

In addition to the higher grade values contained in the veins, adjacent wall rocks reported gold values from 0.05 to 0.60 g/t for widths up to 11 metres.

Four additional channel samples were obtained from trenches on widely scattered altered outcrops exposed through extensive cover within the northern 800 metres of the vein system. The highest gold value in this area was obtained from the northern most trench which reported 2.60 g/t over three metres. A second trench in this area reported three metres of greater than 100 g/t silver and 1 metre of 0.93 g/t gold. The two remaining northern trenches were positioned to test altered zones adjacent to the main vein trend. One returned anomalous values up to 0.37 g/t gold and the other contained no significant values.

Exploration in Peru is under the supervision of Mr. Thomas H. Burkhart, Vice President of Exploration for the Company, who is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

The acquisition of the Maki Project is a continuation of New Dimension's philosophy of acquiring and exploring quality exploration opportunities in the Americas.
