New Dimension Reports Results From Golden Shear Drilling

Intersects 4.57 Metres of 2.20 g/t Gold and 91 g/t Silver

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 18, 2007) - New Dimension Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NDR) has completed an initial drill program on its Golden Shear Project located approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada. A total of 675 metres in eleven shallow RVC drill holes tested four separate target zones, with three of these situated along the same one kilometre long favorable geological horizon. Drilling was directed to test down dip projections of outcropping mineralization that saw historic underground gold production from veins and breccia zones. Drill results support the presence of a large hydrothermal system.

Three widely spaced holes were drilled in the northeastern part of the claim block, with results listed below:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Hole From To Thickness Gold Silver
Number (metres) (metres) (metres) g/t g/t
-----------------------------------------------------------
GS-1 0 4.57 4.57 2.20 91
-----------------------------------------------------------
35.0 36.52 1.52 0.69 55
-----------------------------------------------------------
51.8 53.32 1.52 1.10 19
-----------------------------------------------------------
GS-2 3.00 4.53 1.52 1.31 12
-----------------------------------------------------------
27.4 29.92 1.52 0.94 43
-----------------------------------------------------------
70.1 71.62 1.52 1.10 40
-----------------------------------------------------------
GS-3 36.6 38.12 1.52 0.55 8.6
-----------------------------------------------------------

The above noted intercepts occur within a much broader zone of highly anomalous gold mineralization.

An additional five holes (GS-4, GS-4b, GS-4c & GS-5) were drilled to test a structure approximately 700 metres southwest along trend from Holes GS-1 to GS-3. Unfortunately, four of the five holes were lost in old mine workings and drill results in this area were inconclusive. The one hole (GS-5) that reached target depth was strongly anomalous in gold from surface to 52 metres with a high value of 0.71 g/t gold over 1.52 metres.

Two drill holes (GS-6 and GS-6b) were positioned on a separate structure in the area. One of these holes was lost in mine workings and the other identified anomalous gold over its first 30 metres with a high value of 0.35 g/t gold over 1.52 metres.

Two holes were drilled approximately one kilometre to the southwest of hole GS-6. These holes were angled to cross a northwest striking, steeply south dipping vein structure at two different elevations. The vein was recognized in both holes but drilling failed to identify the bonanza grade gold values that are known to occur within the structure. Results are listed below:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Hole From To Thickness Gold Silver
Number (metres) (metres) (metres) g/t g/t
-----------------------------------------------------------
GS-7 93 108.2 15.2(i) 0.25 6.3
-----------------------------------------------------------
GS-8 12.2 15.24 3.04 1.17 25
-----------------------------------------------------------

(i) includes 1.52 m @ 0.486 g/t gold and 1.52 m @ 0.492 g/t gold

The Company is presently reviewing these results before deciding its future plans for the project.

The Golden Shear Project exploration program is under the supervision of Thomas Burkhart, the Company's VP of Exploration, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

Elsewhere additional quality opportunities in the Americas are under review as part of its strategy to acquire attractive mineral projects in stable and prospective geological environments.
