AMHERST, MA--(Marketwire - March 22, 2011) - Hip hop recording artist BENEFIT, 29, will release his debut full-length album "The Time is Now" on April 12, 2011 on the Comparable To None Entertainment label.

His first single off "The Time is Now" 'The Italian Job' features a trio of Italian-American rappers with M-Dot, and Wu Tang Clan-affiliated JoJo Pellegrino. The track can be played at

Known for his lyrical street style, BENEFIT has overcome stints with poverty and prison to channel his survival of the fittest testament into his music. Benefit's inspiration comes from The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and his father.
