New Frontier Energy, Inc. (NFEI) Receives Temporary Surface Water Discharge Permit for Its Wells at Slater Dome

DENVER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 10, 2006 --New Frontier Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: NFEI) today announced that a temporary surface water discharge permit was obtained from the state of Colorado for its wells at the Slater Dome Prospect.

Paul G. Laird, New Frontier's President and CEO, commented, "We are excited about this discharge permit as it allows us to aggressively pump water from all of our wells at the Slater Dome Prospect. We anticipate that the increased rate of water production will increase our gas production rate and decrease our operating costs. This discharge facility will provide an environmentally safe method of disposing of produced water and will also benefit the ranching community of the Little Snake River Valley. We anticipate receiving a permanent discharge permit within the next 90 days."
