New Generation Biofuels to Participate in the 4th Annual International Biomass Conference & Expo

COLUMBIA, MD--(Marketwire - Apr 21, 2011) - New Generation Biofuels Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: NGBF) (PINKSHEETS: NGBF), a clean energy company developing and deploying novel technologies to produce cleaner, renewable biofuels, announced today, the eve of Earth Day, that the Company will participate in the 4th annual International Biomass Conference & Expo, May 2 through May 5, at the America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri. NGBF will be discussing its proprietary technology and renewable emissions reducing biofuels at Booth 509. In addition, David H. Goebel, Jr., Principal Executive and Chief Operating Officer of NGBF, will moderate a panel discussion titled "Pyrolysis Oil: The New Black Gold," on Wednesday, May 4, at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.

"We are very pleased and excited about the rapid progress we have made in developing pyrolysis oil as a liquid biomass feedstock for producing high quality, environmentally friendly, competitively priced biofuels for use in existing combustion systems," stated Mr. Goebel. "Although pyrolysis oil has historically presented significant challenges, our technology overcomes those challenges and enables us to take advantage of the many strengths of this renewable non-food feedstock, including: costs, lower emissions, and improved carbon footprints. We look forward to discussing how our novel technology produces a unique biofuel made from pyrolysis oil at this year's International Biomass Conference & Expo."

NGBF welcomes the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders including environmental advocates and others who can help NGBF bring this advanced technology and biofuel to market. Please stop by Booth 509 or contact David Goebel with any questions at (409) 790-7458.
