New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares, Inc. Renames Itself Lake Sunapee Bank Group

NEWPORT, NH--(Marketwired - May 29, 2015) - New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ: NHTB), the holding company for Lake Sunapee Bank, today announced the change of the Company's name to Lake Sunapee Bank Group (NASDAQ: LSBG). The name change was recently approved by the Company's stockholders at the Annual Meeting held on May 14, 2015.

The common stock of the Company will continue to trade on the NASDAQ Global Market under a new ticker symbol "LSBG," to reflect the name change. The Company's common stock will begin trading under "LSBG" as of market open on June 1, 2015.
