New Holland Construction Joins Snow & Ice Management Association

SIMA Promotes Industry Best Practices and Safety

CAROL STREAM, IL--(Marketwire - March 2, 2009) - New Holland Construction has joined the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA), a Milwaukee-based non-profit trade association representing over 1,200 snow and ice removal professionals across North America.

"The snow removal industry is a key business segment for New Holland Construction, and the decision to join SIMA emphasizes our long-term commitment to this industry," said Edgar J. Chavez, Director of marketing for New Holland Construction. "As the professional voice and go-to resource for the industry it serves, SIMA provides an excellent platform for direct and ongoing interaction with the end-user. Their input and feedback is crucial to guarantee that we continue to meet their business needs, provide solutions to their challenges, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction."

New Holland Construction's products and services for the snow removal industry include powerful compact wheel loaders and high-productivity vertical-lift Super Boom® skid steer loaders. The Super Boom® skid steers let owner and operator do more in less time as high lift capacities and long forward dump reach result in less spillback and fast cycle times. Unobstructed, all-around visibility, superior operator comfort and extra performance with an optional two-speed transmission on L175 through L190 models provide even more efficiency on the job site. All versatile and easy-to-change skid steer attachments are interchangeable with New Holland compact wheel loaders, adding further flexibility.

SIMA represents snow and ice removal professionals, including subcontractors, property managers, government agencies, suppliers, manufacturers and others. The organization is committed to promoting professionalism and safer communities through providing business resources that foster best practices and facilitating training opportunities related to operations and safety.

"SIMA is excited to welcome New Holland Construction as a new member of the organization," commented Brian K. Birch, SIMA assistant Executive Director. "We are looking forward to our cooperation with New Holland which will provide many opportunities to advance and improve our industry. New Holland's reputation for quality equipment will be well received by our members across the US and Canada."
