NEW HOME and IronRidge Announce Distribution Agreement

DUBLIN, CA--(Marketwire - February 17, 2010) - NEW HOME GREEN MATERIALS AND LEARNING CENTER today announced a new wholesale distribution agreement for NEW HOME to represent IronRidge, a noted manufacturer of solar mounting and racking systems. NEW HOME distributes a stellar portfolio of high profile solar companies. This new agreement provides NEW HOME customers with additional options for one-stop shopping for integrated solar supplies needed to complete a project. The announcement is one of several such agreements released recently by the company.

IronRidge, based in northern California was recently recommended by Solar Pro Magazine for its racking solutions, especially for its installer-friendly systems for pitched roofs -- the XRS and XRL.

"One of the unique features of the IronRidge XRS standard rail-mounting system is the internal splice bar," the magazine noted, highlighting a patent-pending feature that provides greater flexibility to the installer resulting in faster installation times and superior aesthetics.

IronRidge is a trusted provider to residential solar system contractors, commercial installers, industrial system integrators, and many others. IronRidge products are relied upon every day in installations that range from small, single-use residential applications to some of the largest industrial deployments in the world. IronRidge has the manufacturing and distribution capacity to support the largest installations -- and offers the product quality and efficiency that help ensure the fastest implementation possible.

"NEW HOME is poised to be a leader in the fast-growing green building market. We are pleased they are expanding their solar solutions to now include our unique systems," said Craig Carni, founder of IronRidge. "Having a knowledgeable PV vendor like NEW HOME now offering a complete line of solar equipment is a valuable solution in the market."

Jason Hamilton, General Manger of NEW HOME'S Renewable Energy Division, said, "Our new partnership with IronRidge further expands our ability to be the independent solar contractor's business ally in solar success. We are now the contractors' preferred source for not only solar PV materials, but end user financing programs, technical and product education, consumer leads, and numerous other business building tools. We are the partner that will enable the small/mid-sized solar contractor to compete with the Goliaths of the industry."
