New Investment Advice Product SigFig Attracts Impressive Roster of Financial Veterans

Industry Leaders Across Financial Services, Wealth Management, Digital Media, and Social Networking Back New Investment Advice Product Launching This Summer

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - SigFig -- a new product borne of award-winning investment portfolio tracking company Wikinvest -- today announced a slate of advisors, investors and board members, and previewed the company vision that has attracted the new support.

The flagship product, which is debuting this summer, has attracted the involvement of an impressive set of industry experts, who bring a wealth of experience across financial services, wealth management, digital media, and social networking. Among SigFig's new investors and advisors are:

  • Mark Britto, CEO of mobile payments leader BOKU, and former CEO of Ingenio, SVP at Amazon.com, and co-founder of Accept.com (acquired by Amazon)
  • Owen Van Natta, EVP of Business and board member at Zynga, and former COO of Facebook and CEO of MySpace
  • G. Moffett Cochran, CEO of Silvercrest Asset Management Group, and former President of Credit Suisse Asset Management LLP and Chairman of DLJ Asset Management Group
  • Gordon McLeod, former President of Dow Jones' Wall Street Journal Digital Network
  • Steve Schultz, former GM of Yahoo! Finance

Britto, who was a board member of financial services company Bill Me Later (acquired by eBay for $1.2B), has also joined SigFig's board of directors along with Jason Krikorian, co-founder of Sling Media (acquired by EchoStar for $380M) and currently a general partner at DCM.

Wikinvest's portfolio tracking tool, launched in 2010, was the first to sync directly with users' brokerage accounts, and was called "the most advanced of its kind" by Barron's Magazine. This summer, Wikinvest plans to launch SigFig, a service which will provide personalized portfolio advice and investment analysis to its users.
