New Isbill #2 Well Initial Production Rates Exceed 225 Barrels of Oil and 200 MCF of Gas per Day

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 11, 2007 -- Brinx Resources Ltd. (OTCBB: BNXR) (the "Company" or "Brinx") is pleased to announce that the Isbill #2 well, located at the Owl Creek Prospect in McCain County, Oklahoma, has been placed into production. On the first full day of production the Isbill #2 well produced 271 barrels of oil and 141 mcf of gas. The second full day of production resulted in 256 barrels of oil and 225 mcf of gas.

The Isbill #2 was drilled after the processing of new geological information and 3-D geophysical data that identified the Isbill location, and at least two additional drill locations that will offset the successful Powell #2 well or the new Isbill #2 well.

The Powell #2 well, also located at Owl Creek, has been flowing naturally under its own pressure for almost 10 months before the decision was made to install a pump. Following the pump installation, the Powell #2's first full day of production totaled 197 barrels of oil and 59 mcf of gas, and the second day of full production with the pump resulted in 214 barrels of oil and 63 mcf of gas. The company expects combined production from the Isbill #2 and Powell #2 will average approximately 300 to 350 and 250 mcf of gas per day in the interests of responsible well and field management.

The Powell #2 is showing very little decline or depletion indicating that the producing reservoir and the associate field is larger than previously believed. The successful drilling and production of the Isbill #2 has further confirmed this supposition. Since the Powell #2 was completed in late June 2006, it has produced over 35,000 barrels of oil and 10 million cubic feet of gas.

"Brinx Resources is becoming a significant oil and gas producer as we are producing oil and gas on all three of our projects," says President Lee Halterman. "The success of the Isbill #2 and increased production from the Powell #2 are part of Brinx's plans to develop additional production from all three projects in the upcoming year." Moreover, says Halterman, "We are also reviewing additional high quality oil and gas projects to add to our portfolio."
