New Jersey to Increase Natural Gas-Fired Capacity by 29.8%, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - May 16, 2011) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Power generation developers in New Jersey have plans to install 31 natural gas-fired generating units, adding 3,158 megawatts (MW) of capacity in the state. The addition would raise New Jersey's natural gas-fired power generation capacity from 10,605 MW utilizing 158 units to 13,763-MW through 189 units.
