"The Bike MS races have been a focal point in our efforts to continue to give back for greater cause. We take great pride and honor in participating and sponsoring the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Rides. This year's New Leaf / Skae Power team ridership has increased by 207% (up to 85 riders) and already raised 88% more than last year's $16,000 for this incredible event. Our goal is to raise $30,000 and become one of the top corporate fundraisers for this race. Although we are pitted against much larger competition, we are up for the task. Our entire company would like to thank those who are participating in this great cause of working towards a cure for multiple sclerosis. As a locally based business we view the Bike MS NYC Ride as a great opportunity to give back to our community and raise awareness of the fight against MS. We continue to work with the MS society on a national level and participate and sponsor events nationwide," stated Mr. Eric Skae, Chief Executive Officer of New Leaf.

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advancements in medical research lend renewed hope to those afflicted by the disease.
