New Leaf Enters Wisconsin Market Through Distribution Agreement With Water Concepts

Agreement Adds Three Distributors and Six Chain Stores to New Leaf Beverage Distribution

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - September 3, 2009) - New Leaf Brands, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baywood International, Inc. (OTCBB: BAYW) ("Company"), today announced they have signed a new distribution agreement to enter the state of Wisconsin with Water Concepts. Through this agreement, New Leaf Tea will add three more distributors including Kay Distributing Company in Green Bay, General Beer Distributors Co. in Milwaukee and Four Seasons Beer Distributors in Aurora. New Leaf can now be purchased in six chain stores including Piggly Wiggly, Festival Foods, Woodman's Food Market, Sentry Foods, Sendik's Food Market and Shopko.

"We are very pleased with our working relationship with Water Concepts and particularly Denny Bloechl. Denny has been instrumental in obtaining numerous chain authorizations through third party outlets," stated Tim Brown, Vice-President of Midwest Sales for New Leaf. "It is very exciting to enter the new market of Wisconsin and have one strategic partner that is capable of helping us build distribution statewide by the end of this calendar year."

Denny Bloechl, Regional Manager at Water Concepts stated, "What impressed me the most about New Leaf was the immediate acceptance of the buyers once they sample the products. The first thing that grabs them is the beautiful packaging, followed by the unique flavors sweetened with organic cane sugar coupled with lower calories and the efficient 12-pack presentation. Our customers are convinced that the product will exceed the consumers' expectations and sell itself."
