New Machinery Scope Program Expands Extended Warranty Options for Used Ag Equipment Dealers

ALEXANDRIA, MN--(Marketwired - November 17, 2015) - Machinery Scope is a third party provider of agriculture equipment inspections and extended warranty in North America. In response to a growing demand for straightforward programs that are easy for dealerships to implement and market, Machinery Scope is proud to announce the "MS Service Solution". Machinery Scope developed the Service Solution to help Ag equipment dealers move used equipment and at the same time encourage local customers to take advantage of off-season service specials.

Machinery Scope is offering a new type of Purchased Protection Plan (PPP) program they have named the "MS Service Solution" and is made available exclusively through partnerships with dealers.

The MS Service Solution gives dealerships an easy, and stress-free way to provide and market extended warranty on equipment previously uncovered through other PPP programs.

Designed to enhance a dealership's preventative maintenance service specials, the MS Service Solution provides an affordable extended warranty program covering combines, tractors, and sprayers up to 10 years old and 5,000 hours from any downtime failures. This program allows coverage to be extended on equipment already on a farm, and at the same time can be utilized on used equipment in dealer inventory. In a time when used equipment can be a source of some headaches, this is a solution to help market the used equipment.

The MS Service Solution program utilizes a dealerships service department to perform a preventative maintenance inspection. The unit then undergoes service per the recommendations made to the farmer in the inspection report. Once finished, Machinery Scope will provide a 1-year extended warranty to cover the Powertrain + Hydraulics for either 250 or 500 hours. Not only is the dealer able to provide the standard parts and labor warranty typically provided on any work completed but also a protection plan on the core of the machine.

This process allows Machinery Scope to partner with the dealer in providing an affordable extended warranty option. The dealership can also deliver customer value through its exceptional programs in their parts and service departments. The customer will receive peace of mind protection previously unavailable to them through traditional programs.
