("NML" or "the Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:NML) announced the resignation of Mr. Michael Harrington Q.C., of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, as a director of the Corporation effective as of March 2, 2007 pursuant to the announcement of The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, of Mr. Harrington's appointment as a judge of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, Trial Division.

The Corporation congratulates Mr. Harrington and thanks him for his invaluable contributions as a director of NML.
