New Mitsubishi SUV Offers Gentex Auto-Dimming Mirror

ZEELAND, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 31, 2007 -- Gentex Corporation (NASDAQ : GNTX ), the leading
supplier of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors to the worldwide automotive
industry, has announced that it is supplying auto-dimming mirrors for the
2007 Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Pajero is Mitsubishi's new large SUV, and offers a Gentex interior
auto-dimming mirror on its high- and mid-grade trim levels. Gentex
auto-dimming mirrors automatically darken to reduce glare from the
headlamps of vehicles approaching from the rear. The brighter the glare,
the darker the mirrors become, making nighttime driving safer.
The Pajero becomes the first large-sized standard SUV equipped with
electrochromic, auto-dimming mirrors to be sold in Japan. The vehicle will
also be sold in Europe, Australia, India and other select markets.
