New Multimedia Entertainment Company Builds on Partnerships

Dean Miller and Iris Thompson Launch One Revolution Entertainment

NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwire - April 21, 2009) - Dean Miller and Iris Thompson announce One Revolution Entertainment (ORE), a synergistic company that combines their years of experience in the music business with strategic partnerships in all facets of the entertainment industry. They are building a new kind of business, one without a traditional model to help frame it -- but they wouldn't have it any other way. ORE will encompass film and television production, artist management and development, publishing and will act as a multimedia entertainment distribution outlet.

Once an artist signed to Universal South, MCA, Capitol and Koch Records, Dean Miller has been on both sides of the major label machine, and it is this unique perspective that has inspired him to take on the task of challenging the status quo. Miller recently worked with Iris Thompson on a television production venture that spawned the idea for One Revolution Entertainment. Formerly the creative director at Bluewater Music and New Millennium Music and a staff writer at Sony and Universal Music, Miller will also draw upon his own first-hand experience and connections in developing ORE's publishing component.

In the film and television world, Miller and Thompson have built relationships with Bill Kunkel and Doug Metzger, together known as Two Horns Entertainment Group (THE Group). Metzger's credits include "Dances with Wolves" and "The Italian Job," among many others, and Kunkel previously held positions at MGM/UA and Tri-Star Pictures as well as CBS Television and CBS Television International. THE Group currently has several major film and TV projects in development. Kunkel and Metzger have over thirty years of experience each and will advise and consult ORE in creating broadcast content and discovering avenues for distribution.

Miller and Thompson have also teamed up with Wayne Leeloy, a Seattle transplant who came to Nashville to launch Ticketmaster's Music Services department in their Artist Relations division. He is also the founder and creative consultant for Foundation Music Group, an artist and brand development business and marketing strategy firm. Leeloy brings this expertise to the table and this allows ORE to focus on artist development while also building its management division. ORE's discovery and development of their initial signings, Nathan Lee and Rob Blackledge, heralds the caliber of talent ORE is dedicated to presenting to a global audience.

Miller and Thompson recognize that they must be willing to take risks in order to create a multimedia entertainment distribution outlet. By turning a critical eye to conventional practices, they are embracing new concepts such as integrated marketing techniques and fan and artist relationship management, all while seeking out important partnerships to help them navigate the ever-changing landscape of the music and entertainment industry.

ORE is hosting a rooftop party at the Icon in the Gulch on April 21st at 6:30 pm to celebrate their kickoff event -- a showcase at the Nashville Film Festival presenting artists Nathan Lee and Rob Blackledge to that dynamic and growing creative community.

It's been said that every journey starts with one revolution and One Revolution Entertainment is dedicated to building relationships and collaborating to discover new ways for their artists' music to be heard.
