New Online MBA Program Offers $16K Scholarship to Future Business Leaders

Year-Long Alliant International University MBA Prepares Students for High-Demand Careers in the Health and Human Sciences

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 22, 2015) - Today, Alliant International University announced a new online MBA program, with concentrations in rapidly growing sectors like healthcare and organization psychology. For the inaugural cohort, Alliant is offering competitive Founder Scholarships, providing students up to $16,000 in funding -- covering nearly 50 percent of tuition costs -- and the opportunity to help shape the program for working adults.

In recent years, the health and human services sectors have been growing rapidly -- and are expected to generate a total of 5.6 million jobs and grow annually by 3 percent. Many of these new jobs require business and management expertise.

Drawing on Alliant's rich history of preparing health and human services professionals, the new online MBA program will offer students the opportunity to prepare for careers in pharmaceutical management, heath care informatics, organizational psychology, criminal justice, IT and health care management.

"Alliant International University is deeply committed to graduating professionals who are equipped to tackle some of the most pressing social challenges of our time. The online MBA program is designed to give busy professionals the opportunity to advance their careers in meaningful fields," said University president Geoffrey Cox. "The Founders Scholarship presents a unique opportunity for talented individuals to not only pursue a graduate degree with financial support, but also to provide input on the program, ensuring that it works well for all future students."

The fully-online program is taught by exceptional, industry-experienced faculty members in an accelerated format that makes it possible to graduate in as little as one year. Presented in eight-week course sessions, the program offers students the choice of twenty-three concentrations.

Students entering the program in July 2015 will have the opportunity to apply to the Founder Scholarship. To be considered for the scholarship opportunity, students must hold a bachelor's degree, maintain a GPA of at least 3.0, and be willing to participate in regular feedback activities.
