-- Highlights Ericsson's commitment to CDMA following Nortel acquisition

Wisconsin RSA #7 Limited Partnership (dba Element Mobile), a new operator in central Wisconsin, announced today that it has selected Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) as the sole supplier for its upcoming CDMA network launch.

Ericsson will plan, design and deploy the radio access network and packet-core network for Element Mobile's first network. The contract also covers business consultancy.

"As a new operator, network reliability will be critical to our customer satisfaction and we are confident Ericsson will help us provide a quality network," said Jerry Wilke, chief operating officer, Element Mobile. "Ericsson was selected as our sole vendor because of ease of migration, feature functionality, overall product reliability and a clear and simple evolution path to LTE."

Element Mobile will begin offering advanced voice and data services to customers in central Wisconsin in the second half of 2010. The company will provide high-speed data to customers through Ericsson's EV-DO Rev A technology.

We're excited to work closely with Element Mobile to build and launch a high-quality CDMA network," said Craig Stein, Ericsson vice president for US Regions, Broadband and Media Accounts. "This contract further strengthens Ericsson's position in the growing CDMA market of regional operators in the United States."

Following the acquisition of the former Nortel wireless assets for North America in 2009, Ericsson is a leading supplier of CDMA solutions for network operators, including the largest operators in the U.S. and Canada as well as many tier II and tier III operators.
