New Patent Apps Again Featured for Fish Farming and Hormone Removal

CARY, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 3, 2007 -- Shine Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHDG) is covered again, this time in the current issue of CEOCFO Interviews & News for its new innovations in global fish farming and waterborne hormone removal for municipalities. The interview has an online version available at:

The company had only recently announced its filing of another provisional patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for what it called a "landmark oxygenation process for the fish farming and aquaculture markets." The method utilizes superfine bubbles of oxygen to increase and then maintain Dissolved Oxygen (DO) content in water for fish farming. One-month prior, on February 9 of 2007, Shine Holdings announced an initial provisional patent application for hormone removal in water. The company has stated it is eager to move out of the prototype phase with both of these technologies, one for global fish farming, and the other intended for hormone eradication from municipal wastewater outflows and community drinking water systems.

Speaking about the twin technologies, Brett Swailes, Shine President and CEO recently said: "In fish farming and aquaculture you are talking about a $70-billion global market. A 1/2 percent penetration in that market would mean huge revenues. We also spoke of an $8-billion market just in water equipment manufacturing. There too, a 1/2 percent penetration in that arena would mean vast revenues. I hate to use the old catchphrase of a 'ground level opportunity,' but in hindsight we will all one day say, 'here was a formative industry.' These markets are simply going to increase by orders of magnitude in the coming years."

The company has pointed out that the recently announced developments are intended to aim for licensing agreements to collect royalties for an assortment of water related applications.
