New Production Deal for "Whisper of Crows," a Compelling Novel of Horror, Romance, and Violence

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 21, 2013) - A production deal with EG Daily Productions has been set for "Whisper of Crows," a graphic horror thriller from author/filmmaker Jameson Hesse, published last October. The production will feature actors Elizabeth "E.G." Daily, Peter Dobson, and James Wilder in prominent roles.

"Whisper of Crows" tells the story of Kanaan James, a disturbed teenage boy obsessed with his childhood friend Abigail Caulfield. A car accident leaves Abigail stricken with amnesia and Kanaan, desperate for her attention, convinces her they are soul mates running from the law. In the midst of a passionate love affair, while hiding in an old abandoned house in the woods, Kanaan must battle external and internal forces of evil. Twisted, dark and often gruesome, the story weaves through a multi-layered web of deception.

"I wanted this book to be on the 'cutting edge' of the Horror/ Super Natural Thriller genre," explains author Hesse. "It's not just about gruesome events -- it's about what is going on in the character's mind as well. This book questions the nature of reality, and explores the fine line between sanity and insanity."

What fans are saying about "Whisper of Crows"

  • "Horror fans, this is definitely for you. It had me looking over my shoulder when I was reading at home alone at night. It's that scary!"
    -F.A., Ontario, Canada

  • "The way that spooky feeling sneaks up on you is evidence of good writing. There are certain points when you get lost in the story and, as it twist and turns, you feel like you're reading a Stephen King novel."
