New Release of GoCourse Learning System Extends Social Learning

2.5 Version Enhancements to "Always Learning, Occasionally Connected" Platform

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - July 16, 2008) - Agilix Labs, Inc. announced the availability of its new version of GoCourse Learning System, the popular personalized distributed learning platform that uniquely enables "always learning, occasionally connected" instructional scenarios that extend learning opportunities to unserved and underserved markets around the world.

New platform enhancements include easy integration with Elluminate Live® to extend social learning through real-time interaction and collaboration, content protection, a streamlined interface for first-time use, the inclusion of new optimized templates, and cross-platform administration.

"We are excited to extend the GoCourse learning platform to embrace more social learning scenarios," said Curt Allen, Agilix Labs CEO. "The ability for students and instructors to engage in more collaborative learning and real-time interaction is a great addition to our platform for personalized instruction. Our new release is the result of continued efforts to provide an inclusive solution that makes the learning experience as simple and effective as possible."

Elluminate Live Integration

Integration with Elluminate Live provides students and teachers with the ability to communicate through live Web-based sessions in addition to the asynchronous course delivery features previously available in GoCourse Learning System.

The integration will enable users to perform the following activities from within their familiar GoCourse Learning System environment, with no additional IDs or passwords required.

Content Protection

The 2.5 release of GoCourse Learning System also provides content protection for publishers and institutions to secure course content. GoCourse uniquely extends the learning experience to offline learning scenarios by delivering and storing course content on the computers of students and instructors where the content is made available for offline access. The new level of content protection protects against the duplication and dissemination of copyrighted materials. Content protection also assists to prevent cheating by students who may wish to share course content.

Streamlined Initial Experience

Administrators, authors and teachers using GoCourse Learning System for the first time will now enjoy a streamlined process. An entire course can now be created as part of the "out of the box" experience without requiring any administrative setup. Several of the administrative functions that previously required access to a separate administrative interface are now available through the GoCourse Player interface, empowering teachers and authors with increased flexibility and efficiency when creating a course or instructing a new group of students.

Additional Activity Templates

The addition of several new templates for rich multimedia activities extends the ability of GoCourse to deliver engaging content that produces improved learning outcomes for students. GoCourse templates allow rapid course assembly through a simple drag-and-drop interface.

Cross-Platform Administration

The GoCourse Administrator becomes a true Web application as part of the 2.5 release, allowing system administrators to access the administrative interface from Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.
