New Relic Joins YouTube, Skullcandy, Loggly, and Rackspace to Host PyCon 2012's Biggest Party

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2012) - New Relic, Inc., the SaaS-based cloud application performance management provider, and the only provider of application management solutions for Python, announced today an exciting lineup of networking events, charity events and technical presentations during PyCon 2012. PyCon is the largest annual gathering for the open source Python programming community and will be held this weekend from March 9-10 in Santa Clara, Calif.

    During his talk, Web Server Bottlenecks and Performance Tuning, New Relic's Graham Dumpleton (@GrahamDumpleton) will discuss a range of factors that can influence the performance of a Python web application and the various limiting factors with WSGI server stacks.

    Join New Relic's Director of Engineering Darin Swanson (@DarinRS), Python programmer Jesse Noller (@JesseNoller), and over a 120 attendees for the inaugural PyCon 5k fun run. Proceeds from the run go to Autism Speaks, the American Cancer Society, and the Epilepsy Foundation.
